We are back from 8 days of pure pardise-induced bliss. I have so much to share about our time in beatuiful Hawaii, but couldn’t wait another minute to share Kelsey and Joe’s wedding preview with you all.
One thing I love about this job is how it continues to connect me with people from my past. Kelsey and I were freshman year roommates and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to be able to capture this day for her and Joe, and to see where this amazing life has taken the two of them.
These two live in beautiful Colorado, but decided to have an intimate Iowa wedding (where they are both from) surrounded by just family and a few friends, before their big celebration in their new home state later this year. And the day was perfect. A sunny spring day, a ceremony and brunch at a beautiful old Captain’s manor along the Mississippi, and two people who love each other – surrounded by the people who have supported and encouraged them along the way – the most perfect example of a genuine celebration of love and family.
