This morning the first thing I did was walk to the kitchen to make coffee – then walk to the bathroom to stand under the heat lamp (best thing about our place!) to warm up. Ya… I might not be adjusting to the drop in temperature so well (especially when house rules declare that the thermostat is not allowed to be set at my ideal 78 degrees) but I’m not going to complain because sitting at my desk wrapped in a blanket with a cup of coffee by my side is kind of a perfect setup in my mind… Especially when I have a cozy fall wedding like this one to share with you all.
I had been looking forward to this wedding for a long time – not just because Cassandra and Pat are such fantastically wonderful people (which they are), but because I was looking forward for a change in scenery, a chance to shoot somewhere outside of my normal comfort zone, and to see all the fall beauty Minnesota has to offer. (note to anyone reading this – I have a strong desire in my heart to travel for weddings, and am happy that 2014 is bringing some more diverse locations, but if you know anyone getting married… ANYWHERE, send them my way… my desperation to see the world (err country) might just allow me to waive part of my travel fees… wink-wink-nudge-nudge #shamelessendorsement )
Anyways, Minnesota did not disappoint – and although it was a bit chilly, I was able to spend some time with some wonderful people (another Minnesota session on the blog tomorrow!) and capture a whole lot of genuine love – which, lets be honest, is my favorite :)
These two are pretty fabulous, so leave them some love with a comment below.
Happy Thursday y’all!
