It is the first Saturday in a while that I didn’t wake up with the butterflies a wedding day brings on. Yesterday was spent shooting a GORGEOUS wedding outside of Minneapolis, and today consists of making myself comfortable at a local coffee shop in Minneapolis – editing and catching up on emails before this afternoon’s engagement session.
Traveling is one of the things that makes my heart happy, even if it is just to a fellow Midwest state a few hundred miles north west of home – but I couldn’t help but feel a little bit lonely as I sat in my hotel room Thursday night. It was really quiet and for some reason, watching Grey’s anatomy just wasn’t doing it for me ( I honestly think it’s because it was the first time in, I don’t know – possibly YEARS, that I have watched a non-sports related television program live – commercials are the WORST) – So I got out my computer to watch my old faithful, Parks + Rec, and decided I was going to finish up editing Gina + Ed’s wedding.
Editing these photos filled my heart with joy. With every shot I felt like I was brought back to last Saturday, reliving Gina + Ed’s lovely wedding at the beautiful Lehmann Mansion in Lake VIlla. A day that started out cloudy and rainy eventually gave way to a beautiful mist filled fall afternoon, where so much love was celebrated –
I love reading your comments, and so do my lovely couples.
Leave these two some love with a message below :)
