Nicole + Jakub // Humboldt Park Engagement Session

I have spent the day staring at this fabulous couple and I can’t help but smile, looking back on the afternoon I spent with them.

Their joy is SO contagious, I mean, I don’t think I have ever smiled more watching two people interact with each other (plus Nicole’s laugh will put a smile on ANYONEs face!)

We started the session searching high and low for a parking spot near Humboldt Park, not aware that apparently every single person who went to Riot Fest decided that transportation via car was the best option for the day. After 20 min of driving around we finally found a spot trenched through a random baseball field to get to the park, which, by the way, is GORGEOUS – what the heck? I am still in shock that I didn’t know how GORGEOUS Humboldt Park is – I mean… gardens, pretty buildings, lakes, bridges, you name it, they have it – AMAZING.

As the sun started to set we headed back to their West Town condo and visited the roof top for some shots at their lovely home with the skyline in the background – the whole set up they have there is now making me desperately want a roof top – even if it means having to carry groceries up 3 flights of stairs.

After the sun went down we traveled over to Wicker Park and sat and chatted over a glass of wine. I could have talked with these two for hours, which in and of it’s self is something that I LOVE about my job… clients become friends, and as I left I took a few shots of them at the little restaurant where they had their second date. Such a sweet way to end a perfect afternoon.
