Almost a year ago I reached out to Taylor, a fellow Hawkeye and owner of Par.Tay Events, to welcome her to the world of small business ownership and to chat about the possibility of working together in the future. Over multiple facebook messages it came out that she was pretty sure there might be a ring in her future, and that when the time came, she had really wanted to have their engagement session shot in Chicago (Taylor + Nick live in Iowa and will be relocating to Minn soon!). Low and behold – one week later she messaged me to tell me that Nick had proposed! We scheduled their session right there and then.
Working with Taylor over the past 9ish months, I have come to appreciate her impeccable attention to detail and her planning skills – seriously, this girl is an AMAZING planner – it is so much fun to work with others in the business who have a vision and go the extra mile to make sure their session is everything they wanted and more!
I had the most wonderful time with these two, walking around the city on a gorgeous fall day, and left their session feeling like I had known them for forever.
